Colin and Jackie first opened the doors of the ‘coffee house’ in December 1999 – We were just one of a handful of coffee shops/tea rooms, that was then! Now – we are one of a great many. However, family-run cafes are now few and far between. We have survived the many challenges and changes that time has thrown at us. The influx of the coffee giants, and the building of ‘out of town’ centers with their free parking, are increasingly tempting! But they don't offer the personal touch of a family run coffee shop.
